Two pretty cards!

Hello friends!
Happy Saturday!

Vinita here Today, I m so excited to share with you two pretty cards that I created with awesome printed Critter sheets and this time I received some uncolored imaged too:)
Mansi has done a super job again! She has completely created unique and detailed critter sheets set! Pretty Anemones set has uncolored floral images and Humming Bird set has some different sizes of flowers, large and small hummingbirds with different sizes leaves!
My first card is showcasing pretty Anemones! I really enjoyed coloring them and these florals are perfect for any coloring medium!

Card#1
Pretty Anemones

To create my own pattern background, Placed the dual cube stencil on the white surface area and secure it with washi tape or painters tape. Add pattern to your project by blending inks. Gently pull the stencil off from the project area to see the result.

This stencil will help you to create an amazing woven background. Flip the stencil over the pattern and then apply the different color to achieve the good result.

Then I fussy cut some anemones from the ready to color anemones critter sheet and started coloring with some Chameleon pens. Add depth by shading using polychrome pencils of the same color shades.

Die cut some duo leaves, colored them and added some white gel pen dots.

Now I placed the stencilled panel in two different angles with my blooms and leaves. Added the fussy cut sentiment.  Added the fussy cut Congratulations banner from Sentimental bannerrific Critter sheet. Embellished it with some enamel dots.
Love the way it turned out so beautiful! I hope you enjoyed this card. There are a lot of possibilities with this critter sheet Anemones flower!

Card #2
Humming Bird

I started by fussy cutting some floral clusters, leaves and hummingbirds from DCAM Hummingbird critter sheet.

On a piece of heavy white CS, I created a woodgrain background using texture paste and with my woodgrain tool I created the textures and inked it. While it is still a little wet I sprinkled some Mermaid glitter powder for more interest and textures.

That beautiful border on the bottom was created by die cutting one of the dies from DCAM Pierced Scallop Borders dies set.

Isn't that hummingbird absolutely amazing? Seriously, Mansi Thinks of everything!!!
It is so easy to create any scene with dimensions and textures with so many components! And that bold chiplet sentiment Hello is icing on the cake! Finished it off with a shine on sentiment and some gold dots.

DCAM Stencil Scrapbook Layout!

Hey guys!

Spardha here today from The Lazy Owl Designs, sharing with you yet another cool way to use the DCAM 3D stencils!

I began by using white cardstock and soft pastels with 3D Arrow Pattern Builder stencil. I am in LOVE with how soft pastels are working out with these stencils!

Then I cut out a circular window from a black cardstock and stuck the 3D pattern behind the sheet.
I coordinated the critter flowers, sequins and pastel colours with the photo I was going to use on the layout. And added a few finishing touches with a white gel pen for journaling.

I ended up using two different sets of critter sheets together but they worked out perfectly.
Hope it inspires you to use your 3D stencils in some amazing ways!

Card using 3D Stencil Builder

Hello beautiful people!
Spardha here today from The Lazy Owl Designs.
I am back with another card, this time with more experimentation and hit-and-trials with these amazing 3D stencil builders!

Supplies Used: Cardstock - beige, white; Orange watercolor critter sheets; Tools - Heat gun, soft pastels;

Have you tried any of these stencils yet?
Because if you haven't then you should definitely give these a try and you will fall in love {not even kidding}

Our amazing designer Mansi has made a tutorial video on how to use these stencils here.
I wanted softer shades for my card and thought let's give this a shot with soft pastels. Best thing about these stencils is the fact that these are sturdy and thick enough for you to hold down and pat with any colour without making it bleed.

The background was achieved using dry-wash technique with soft pastels and of course used the beautiful critter sheets and this stamped sentiment with a few sequins to complete the look.
Hope this gives you lots of ideas to use these stencils with different inks and mediums.

Let's Party

Hello friends!!
Chitra here today with a card for our November Color challenge Inspiration!!!

Here is the challenge inspiration pic, we want to see use of stencils and atleast 3 of the 5 colors from the color palette..

And here is my card:

I used Moroccan Tiles double stencil set on my card; I placed one of the stencil from the set onto watercolor cardstock and secured it firmly on my work space and did some water coloring with gansai tambi watercolors. Once dry, I directly adhered it to a white cardbase.
Then I stamped all the images onto Neenah smooth white cardstock and colored using copics. The sentiment is stamped using VersaMark pigment ink on a black cardstock and heat embossed using white embossing powder. Everything is then adhered with foam squares.

Here is a close up:

Hope you liked my card. The Challenge will end on November 29 6am IST and the winners will be announced November 30 6am IST.

As we are an International Team, representing an International company we will have 2 winners. One winner will be chosen from India, and one will be an International winner. Winner will receive 1 Double Stencil set and 1 Single Stencil, from our new collection.
