Simple Christmas

Hello crafty friends

Today I have for you this simple Christmas card with poinsettia made out of scrapbooking paper.
First I used Flowers 2 to cut two bigger and one smaller size flower, shaped and put them together creating poinsettia. For the centre of  the flower I used pearl like bead to coordinate it with half pearls on the card.
To finish the whole composition I added few green die cuts.

Gift box with note cards - DCAM

ThisHello friends! time I have made something which I have done for the first time..and I love this project . I have made set of 12 note cards and a gift box to go with that...idea was to make gift box..with mixed sentiment cards or note cards...which anyone can use whole year...
I have made note cards for- birthday, thank you, just for you, best wishes, happy anniversary..etc and the size of these note cards is 3"*3" so I have made matching envelopes  for these note cards using envelope punch board. I totally love this idea and project..going to try more in future for gifting or selling purpose ๐Ÿ™‚ and one more best thing about this project is that I have used all left out scape pieces of stenciling I did from my previous projects.
This post was going too big ,so I divided into two in this post Iam going to share 6 note cards and in my next post I will post next 6 cards and tutorial for the gift box...

Each card size is 3"X 3"....for top layer I have used iris CS in 2.75"x2.75" and did layering with stenciling design CS...(which were my scrape pieces from my previous projects..where I did lot of stenciling backgrounds).so used all my leftover scrap pieces of stenciling...even black cardstock , iris CS pieces all  I have used from my stash...used stamped sentiment,or sticker sentiments.. whatever I had in my stash ready๐Ÿ˜Š . finally decorated using black nova drops or glass clear droplets and ice candy glitter from DCAM.
That's all for today see you  with my next  post... Where I will post next 6 set of note cards and gift box tutorial..

2 ways using one stencil pattern and a card

Hello to all!
Happy Friday!

I am here with another inspiration Today!
Showcasing how to use the stencils to create 3D backgrounds!

Placed the stencil on a white CS as shown in the pic and added the DI ink.

Now flipped the stencil and placed it like as shown in the pic by overlapping design. Added another DI through the stencil, I created the design only the top left corner to the middle.

Here is the complete design.

Now fussy cut a lot of different Persian motifs with a bird on it. I chose a navy blue color CS and using a Martha Stewart Scoring Board created those lines at the left side and adhered that panel with dimension.

Highlighted all those areas with my brush using DI for more textures and depth. Added some black enamel accent dots. Now some splatters.
Die cut a Hello word and placed a banner with the sentiment-  You're beautiful, inside and out from Blooming Beauty critter sheet.

Celtic design using the same stencil

Here is the other one, only the experiment with another design using the same stencil.

I created a Celtic design in rainbow colors using 3D Flip over Dual cube builder stencil 2.

Here are the steps:

Placed the stencil on a white CS and applied various DI using finger dauber.

Now flipped the stencil and placed it as shown in the pic and inked again.

You will get this result.

You will get the diamond shape design space left in between, now cover that space. I covered up my design with masking tape and added the black soot ink as shown in the pic below.

And here is the beautiful final result, a Celtic design!!!

Diwali Gift Tags with DCAM Critter Sheets

Hey guys!

Spardha here from The Lazy Owl Designs today with some Diwali inspiration for you.
Is it that time already? YES!

I'm sure you do too, but I simply LOVE this time of the year when the festivities begin starting with the beautiful weather, all these decorative lights and food. Oh, and let's not forget the gifts.

Which brings me to today's post where I've made these gorgeous gift tags for all your present needs {okay, this was not the best of my puns} using DCAM Critter Sheets.
Do you realise how easy these sheets make your life?

I used some glitter foam as a background mat and to add a bit of dimension to the cards, cutting out some of these adorable graphics from the sheet and layering them on with pearls, sequins and bows.
The best part?
You can make a bunch of these with just one sheet. And of course, these are so cute.

Hope you guys have started cleaning up and decorating your homes.
Happy Festive Season!

New baby

Today I'm sharing this easel card with Bundle Of Joy critter sheet.
I used 14.5 cm by 14.5 cm card base which has been covered with scrapbooking paper matching this beautifull critter sheets.
Die cutted baby image has been attached to pastel green doily and glued to the top of the card.
New baby and fussy cutted flowers were attached on 3d foam pads to give it a lift and for the card to stay in easel possition.
Hope you like it and as always please check out other DCAM products.
