Bold sentiment cards using DCAM chiplets

Hello crafty friends!
In today's post I am mainly highlighting on  DCAM newly released word /sentiment chiplets .  Its a pack of 6 chiplets both  in black n white Colors....fonts  of these chiplets are so good, just like big sentiment stamps....so I have used that n made three bold sentiment cards..with that I have also
used critter sheets and 3-D stencils  from DCAM.

My first card:
In this card for the base I have used iris cardstock and done stenciling with distress oxides  using DCAM 3-D stencil. Then using square stiched die I have cut that card into 4.25x5.5" . Then fussy cut the selected critter sheets, and decided to used word wishes from chiplets set..
So after doing 3d stenciling,I have arranged everything roughly..and when I was happy with the card layout..I have stuck everything..to give diemension I have used foam tapes in flowers n butterfly.. finally used nova enamel dots in few places..for word best I have used Concordn9 alpha stamp set .then did layering with pink cardstock n then on iris folded cardstock.

My second card:

This card is my favourite..and I love this critter sheet design..it's got watercolor effects on Lotus n leaves..so I decided to give watercolor background..for this I have used distress inks ..I have also used shabby white embossing enamel and ultra thick black embossing enamel..and to give diemension to leaves I have used foam tape in one leaf n bud..stamp sentiment from my stash..and word sending is from DCAM chiplets. Finally did layering with pink n iris folded cardstock.

My 3rd card:

In this card I did stenciling in background using distress inks picked raspberry and peeled paint and spritzs water through stencil....I have used a circle white diecut to highlight my flowers ..used ice candy glitter on that... finally used birthday sentiment chiplets from DCAM n happy stamp from my stash..did layering with black n folded iris cardstock.
Hope you have liked my cards.. thank you for stopping by..see you next time with another inspiration post.

Two pretty cards!

Hello friends!
Happy Saturday!

Vinita here Today, I m so excited to share with you two pretty cards that I created with awesome printed Critter sheets and this time I received some uncolored imaged too:)
Mansi has done a super job again! She has completely created unique and detailed critter sheets set! Pretty Anemones set has uncolored floral images and Humming Bird set has some different sizes of flowers, large and small hummingbirds with different sizes leaves!
My first card is showcasing pretty Anemones! I really enjoyed coloring them and these florals are perfect for any coloring medium!

Card#1
Pretty Anemones

To create my own pattern background, Placed the dual cube stencil on the white surface area and secure it with washi tape or painters tape. Add pattern to your project by blending inks. Gently pull the stencil off from the project area to see the result.

This stencil will help you to create an amazing woven background. Flip the stencil over the pattern and then apply the different color to achieve the good result.

Then I fussy cut some anemones from the ready to color anemones critter sheet and started coloring with some Chameleon pens. Add depth by shading using polychrome pencils of the same color shades.

Die cut some duo leaves, colored them and added some white gel pen dots.

Now I placed the stencilled panel in two different angles with my blooms and leaves. Added the fussy cut sentiment.  Added the fussy cut Congratulations banner from Sentimental bannerrific Critter sheet. Embellished it with some enamel dots.
Love the way it turned out so beautiful! I hope you enjoyed this card. There are a lot of possibilities with this critter sheet Anemones flower!

Card #2
Humming Bird

I started by fussy cutting some floral clusters, leaves and hummingbirds from DCAM Hummingbird critter sheet.

On a piece of heavy white CS, I created a woodgrain background using texture paste and with my woodgrain tool I created the textures and inked it. While it is still a little wet I sprinkled some Mermaid glitter powder for more interest and textures.

That beautiful border on the bottom was created by die cutting one of the dies from DCAM Pierced Scallop Borders dies set.

Isn't that hummingbird absolutely amazing? Seriously, Mansi Thinks of everything!!!
It is so easy to create any scene with dimensions and textures with so many components! And that bold chiplet sentiment Hello is icing on the cake! Finished it off with a shine on sentiment and some gold dots.

Brushed Paint Technique with DCAM

Hey guys!

Spardha here from The Lazy Owl Designs with an awesome technique I'd like to share with you today :)

So, like I promised, this one shall be the last Diwali post from my end and we'll be moving on to Christmas celebrations. Today, I'd like to share with you a brushed paint technique using dry embossing pads.

Embossing pads are fairly easy to use and provide you with a great texture for your project backgrounds as they are but they are super fun to use with added colours. Instead of using an ink pad, I dipped a dry paint brush into thick golden paint and swiped it on the embossing pad.
Inserting a solid white sheet of paper and embossing it using my Sizzix machine transferred the design with a beautiful washed-out colour effect on the card matt.

I added the diya cut-out with some "bling" and gold embossed sentiment to complete the look.

Welcome everyone

I didn’t want to make another Christmas project so for a change I took some critter sheets with forest creatures and made this tag. It’s 13 cm by 8cm tag with distressed edges and a lot of fussy cutted elements from Jungle Buddies sheet.
The You’re amazing comes from Floral Fantasee critter sheet.

Hope you like my project:)

Fancy fold cards with DCAM critter sheets

Hello crafty friends!
Today it's my turn to inspire you using our November DT kit...and I have used New critter sheet baby boy and made a baby announcement cards in fancy folds .when I started working with this card I didn't have any idea that this will turn so pretty..as in real it looks so pretty n hand painted look, for this watercolor critter sheets.. I have made one Z fold  box card..and another slider pop-up card..there are many tutorials with various versions on net with sizes.
My first card- Z fold box card:

I have used iris card stock and did cloud distressing on background using cloud cutout and distress oxides and at the bottom part I did hills using another cutouts and bundle sage distress oxides....for cloud n hill cutout I have used DCAM dies ( see pictures)

Then I have fussy cut all images from critter sheets and roughly arranged on my card on required places..and when I was happy with the layouts, then  finally using glue n foam tapes I have stuck the images on my card base..
Then using glossy accent and ice candy glitter, highlighted few places..you can see in picture
For grass I have used punch boarder on iris card stock and distress it with same 3 distress oxides..for distressing BG,and all I have used similar tone of Colors as my critter sheets..and that's giving nice painted look to my card๐Ÿ™‚

My second card- slider pop-up card:

In this card more or less everything is similar..same distress oxides n cloud background.. fussy cutting of critter sheets n using images on required places with glue n foam tape..here I have used two more stamped sentiments and used pearl rhinestone for emblisments.
Thank you for stopping by..see you soon with my another inspiration post..till than stay blessed n keep crafting..๐Ÿ™‚❤️
