Episode -5 Create your own Background w/STAMPOHOLIC

This week I have a super cute Flamingo card to share with you. I created my own background using my Stampoholic tool and a linear stamp. All you need to do is stamp one image, move your paper the width of your stamp and stamp again, you can fill an entire page or just stamp a highlight like I did. I also added some water droplets to make the distress ink move around on the background.

And not to leave out my Stampoholic Nano I used it to stamp the sentiment on my card front and the Flamingo too!

Check out the video to see the full process and instructions. All stamps used for the flamingo and sentiments are from Your Next Stamp.

Hope you enjoy the video and get inspired to make many great projects. But before you go Die Cuts and More is having a give away, at the end of this 6 Video series there will be a draw and you can win a Stampoholic Nano of your very own. Please see the rules below.

Episode 4 Using Grid Mouse Pads with Stampoholic

This week I had the opportunity to use the Grid Mouse Pads that were created for the Stampoholic regular and Nano tools.  There are very handy for finding the perfect placement for your stamp.  You just use it in place of the regular black foam pad.  I decided to permanently mark on mine the size of an A4 card front and show the center lines so that I can place my stamps exactly where I want them to appear on my cards.

I also realized that the grid lines are perfect to create shadow stamps.  This is where you stamp an image and then slightly move the paper and stamp again in a different color to create a shadow.  Makes for a very beautiful sentiment on a card!

I really love how my card turned out - I also added some wink of stella to the word awesome to help it glitter and shine.

Here is the link to my video for this week :

Episode 3 Red Rubber Stamps With STAMPOHOLIC+ GIVEAWAYS

Hi Friends!!
We are super excited as we are heading to our Vacations from tomorrow, So the orders placed from now on will be shipped only after we return from our trp, ie. after 25th June only. But we have exciting offers for you .

All orders placed on our facebook shop will get US$ 10 worth of gifts.  Please read the complete post HERE  So Now Over to Sarah...

This week I would like to show you how to use your Stampoholic with red rubber stamps. We all know it works great for clear acrylic but did you know that you can take out the foam mat and use it for your larger rubber stamps and it works especially great for the large background stamps.

I always have such a hard time stamping larger red rubber background stamps even after going out and getting the special acrylic rocker handle.  I still get spots that don't stamp well and you know you can't just try and line that up and stamp it again - nope - you have to keep going until you get one that you like.

I have wasted so many pieces of paper trying to get the perfect impression and in some cases just leave the background stamps in my room to collect dust because it is too frustrating.

Well now they can come back out to play.  All you need to do is remove your foam mat and use temporary adhesive on your piece of paper to place it on the acrylic base and then stamp away.  This stamp I used is so detailed that it took quite a few impressions but totally worth it in the end to get an image that you can use and I didn't waste any paper.

Now pull out your red rubber and get stamping.  Check out the video to see my finished cards and the full process.

Hope you enjoy the video and get inspired to make many great projects.  But before you go Die Cuts and More is having a give away, at the end of this 6 Video series there will be a draw and you can win a Stampoholic Nano of your very own.  Please see the rules below.

And now is the time to hand over the post to SARAH ELLIOT, She has come up with Episode-2 of the Stampoholic Tutorial Videos. And what a wonderful and informative post/video she has created and OMG the cards are soo ADORABLE,

OVER TO SARAH ...

Welcome back for Episode 2 - this week I would like to share some tips and tricks on using stamped images that come with thin metal dies.  The first set that I am using is the solid metal dies which you have to cut first and then stamp - by using a template in your Stampoholic it makes it so much easier to line up the stamp and get a perfect impression every time.

For more detailed instructions please check out the youtube video attached.

Now the second set that I used is the open metal dies.  Generally you would cut these apart and then place them on all your images that you have stamped in various places on the paper.  By keeping the dies attached you can stamp and cut all in one run through your die cut machine.

First you place your dies cutting side down on your stampoholic as shown.

Then you would position your stamps in the spot for each die, wiggle them into place and then close the lid to transfer them over.  Then you can stamp as many as you want and when you are ready to die cut you just place your die over top and run it through your die cut machine once.

You will definitely want to see the video to watch this one in action

Here are the copic colours used in the above cards.

Hope you enjoy the video and get inspired to make many great projects.  But before you go Die Cuts and More is having a give away, at the end of this 6 Video series there will be a draw and you can win a Stampoholic Nano of your very own.  Please see the rules below.

Multi Step Stamping With STAMPOHOLIC

Hi Friends!!!
Today I want to introduce you to SARAH ELLIOT of http://sarahelliottcards.blogspot.in/  .

She is a wonderful  crafter and a more wonderful person from Ontario, Canada . She will be doing a 6 videos series on STAMPOHOLIC for us. When I requested her she immediately agreed to it. Thanks Sarah and what a wonderful start she has given us.

Over to Sarah.

Hi! I am Sarah, I live in London, Ontario. Married with two kids and work full time as an insurance underwriter on the side ? I spend most of my spare time with my family and in my craft room. I started blogging to share my passion for paper crafting which has turned into so much more. I love altering projects, making cards and even mixed media.

Today I would like to share the first of my projects for the Stampoholic tool from Die Cuts and More.

This tool can come in handy when you are trying to perfectly position sentiments or other stamps and great for when you are not always able to get a perfect impression on your first try.  The paper and stamp stay in the same position so that you can stamp over and over.  But I would like to share some other uses for this tool.

The first project that I have to share is this "Lovely" Anniversary card.  I want to share how you can position your multi-layered stamps so that you can use them over and over again to make more than one image without having to place the stamps every time, which can take a lot of time and patience.

You will need a stamp set that has layers to the image and co-ordinating inks to stamp the layers in.  I am using the Vintage Roses stamp set from Altenew and Stampin Up Inks.

This is a very hard process to explain so please check out the video attached.  Below is a photo of what the stamps will look like after you have gone through placing and stamping for your first image.  Once they are all in place you can just put in a piece of paper and ink up the stamps one corner at a time to stamp as many images as you want.

Hope you enjoy the video and get inspired to make many great projects.  But before you go Die Cuts and More is having a give away, at the end of this 6 Video series there will be a draw and you can win a Stampoholic Nano of your very own.  Please see the rules below.
