Martha Stewart Punches - HOW TO??

Hello Fellas!!!

Hope you all are doing great. Have you entered into our ongoing challenge. Don't worry its not late you can enter Here. As we get lots of queries on how to use Punches properly , so today we will be sharing the techniques on how to use Martha Stewart punches properly. We will be sharing pictures and a video so catch a cup of coffee and relax.

First thing which is very important while using your punches is to follow the size guide which comes with every punch. Not to worry we are sharing the size guide here for you all. If you follow the size guide then your punch outs will be perfect. This is the guide for single edge punch around the page punches.

Now onto the video tutorial. We will share 3 different watch out.

Here are the size guides for individual punches to create beautiful borders. These are deep edge punches and you will need 2.5 inches wide strip to create these borders. Below are the examples for each punch.

  2. Shilpi when I first bought an MS punch [which was the deep lattice heart from Mansi!] my biggest problem with it was it would give ragged edges with normal paper and even good quality pattern paper.I was so disappointed and even blogged about in this post :
    Beaded frame .I felt a bit better when many readers also commented they had trouble with MS punches.Most of the MS punches I have are from Mansi and In my experience the MS punches are not good for handmade paper,thin paper and even most pattern paper!.I found it would punch well only with card stock and the thicker the better!

    1. Sonia MS punches work very well with think and thick papers. It does not work well with handmade papers as these papers have high fibers. Try with paper which are more smooth...
