Hope you take part in our super easy challenge!

So today i will be sharing with you a canvas i made for our CHALLENGE #2 SHABBY IS CHIC

Here's a close up!

So how's it ?

Instructions :
I first created the background using Mist-Ries , i used Ruby red 1st. i sprayed it on my craft sheet n rubbed my canvas over it, taking a wet sponge i rubbed it to make the colour look even i sprayed some True turquoise n subbed it randomly with the sponge next i lightly sprayed some Citrine Orange.
I just loved the way the colours turned out. these mists are so good n can be used in soo many ways you just need to experiment and trust me the results are GORGEOUS!
You can find the complete range of our lovely mists Here!
Next i used a stencil with Molding paste to add some texture to the base.

Now i created the doll using some pattern paper from my stash n my fav Prima doll stamp!
This is just perfect for mixed media, picture frames, tags n much more! I coloured the Top and Shoes of the Doll using Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. Do check out the awesome range of our Doll Stamps on our Website Die Cuts and More!!

I created the large flower using the Rose Creation Die. Its the most versatile Floral die i've come across i have soo many versions to this flower! P.s- if you want a tutorial on my Rose Creations flowers do let me know. I'll be happy to share! :D

I've used some Mulberry flowers ,buttons , pearl lace from my stash.

I have torn n layered some paper under the doll to give it the shabby feel, next i punched a border using MS Doily Lace punch its one of my fav punches i can never get enough of it! :D i inked the border with Peacock feathers Distress ink!

I cut some sentiments from Prima Lifetime Paper pad n added glossy accents over them!
Adding glossy accents over anything gives is a perfect shine!

The last step i added a die cut using Cheery Lynn Victorian Romance Flourish! Its such a pretty die! Its a must have for creating Layouts n Picture frames!

After completing the Layout i added some tiny pieces of net between the flowers and used gesso over my flowers and the net the entire canvas just tiny bits n rubs!
This gave it the perfect shabby chic feel to it!

Thats all for now! Dont forget to be a part of our CHALLENGE #2 SHABBY IS CHIC!

Hope you all liked my canvas!
Do leave some love and suggestions!

Hugs!
Anchal Sapra
