Hello! crafty friends,
This is DT Daksha from DCAM designs. I am super excited but little scared at the same time as this is my first post for DCAM and I wanted to give my best. On seeing the critters sheet first thing comes onces mind is envelope or card, but I wanted to create something different. I am super happy to see the end result - Shabby chic embroidery hoop layout. The photographs doesn't give justice to this layout as in real it looks much more prettier. Here are the full project details with pictures.

Step by step instructions:
#1-very first thing I did all fussy cutting of design sheets which I was planning to use. Then planned my layout by roughly placing everything inside the loop. I kept adding few things as I went with the flow.
#2- applied white chalk paint on embroidery hoop, MDF pieces and square frames...last minute I have changed the hoop color to light pastel pink color
#3- then stick the pattern paper at the base of the hoop using tacky glue and gave a coat of clear gesso to prepare the base.
#5- used paper lace boarder by diecuting iris paper from spellbinders lace die.
#6- die cut all flowers, leaves, fillers etc on 270 gsm iris paper using DCAM dies.
#8- Arranged everything according to my plan, kept adding few things as I progressd in my layout...used double sided foam tape and hot glue gun to stick flowers and all.
#9- used sentiments from the same design sheet.
#10- finally used pearls and pearly swirl bling from my stash.
Hope I have inspired you with my work.. thank you for stopping by and staying with me till the end🙂.
