Peacock feather stencil -Review

Hello friends,
Kavitha here today sharing a review on "Peacock stencils".The two step stencils can be used in many different ways and today i am going to show some of them.

Before going on to the post, here is a reminder for the on going challenge. You can use stencils from any brand and use min of 3 colors from the given chart. You have time till Nov 29th.

Here i used the second stencil to create the background designs,it looked like a beautiful flower petal so i tried creating floral background,if you have patience you can even create five or six petal flowers, hehe. First i placed the stencil and sponged wilted violet distess ink.Next i moved the stencil down  and used picked raspberry  distress ink,i made sure both the tip just  touches each other. Now i turned the stencil horizontally n sponged each petal individually both left  and right side of the design

Here i used the first stencil with masking tape to create variation in design. For the first design i masked it horizontally n sponged two ink colors. For the second one i masked the design diagonally, sponged the first color, removed one masking tape at a time and sponged the second color to get a blended effect.

In this for the first design  i used the first stencil two times over lapping each other in two colors. For the second design i used the second step stencil once, and for the third design i used the second step stencil in another color. You can see the how beautiful the variations are.

In this i sprayed distress ink sprays in two colors first, and then dabbed the excess inks on to the another paper by placing the stencil upside down twice, you can see the variation n how beautiful n different the patterns are in each

Each n every pattern shown above  can be used as background on its own,i combined it as two or three as i developed the design from the first one.I just showed some variation you can create with a single stencil,i am sure you can create much more designs with a little variations n change in colors,do share if you create something with our stencils,we will be happy to see.

For today's project i made a mixed media canvas with the peacock stencils.I used the first stencil with texture paste.

To create the layers i used some Prima Rossiebelle collection papers and for embellishing used a resin frame and prima flowers.
