Versatile Wine tag

Hello friends,

Gayatri here, wishing you all a very Happy New Year! I am here with my first set of inspirations for this year. I have used the wine tag die to inspire you.

1. Wine tag

 

For my first project I have created a wine tag. I decoupaged the die cut with a decoupage napkin and inked the edges for a vintagy effect. I added few stamped images to match with the napkin print. I inked the sentiment with Dusty Concord and Mowed Lawn DI and layered it on black CS. Added a satin bow at the bottom to make it special.

2.Door hanger

I made a mixed media door hanger with the die cut. I loved creating the texture and background.The die is so versatile that you can create different projects. I will let you enjoy the pictures of the door hanger.

 And now this adorns my room....

DCAM Wine Tag Die

Hello Dear Friends,

Shalini Pahwa here, Wish you all a Very Happy New Year, 2017.

Today I'll be sharing a project on New Release Die -Wine Tag Die, The size is so good you can create not only tag but different projects also with the same die, I'm sharing two project with the same die. 

Bottle tag

I really enjoyed working on this tag, after cutting the cardstock, i had taken pattern paper also to make it sturdy, and used jute twine and jute flower and used DCAM Cheers Die also.

Banner

With the same Wine Tag Die, i had created this banner, and thought of using DCAM letters to make this banner, where i had used Tim Holtz Distress ink and Dies, and used DCAM stencils also.

Bold and Beautiful!

Hello Friends, Piyanki here today wishing you all a very Happy 2017! 

Today I am here sharing some projects with the new dies released at DCAM. I am sure most of you have already had a chance to work with and rest are wanting to get a copy for yourself.

Yes the dies are absolute requirement for your daily projects that you make. Today I am using one such die which is a must for all of us and its so versatile that its almost required anytime.

A little about the die before we move ahead with the project. Its called Bold XL Alphabets and you can get it HERE.

You will see my fellow DT members using the same die various ways. Now to my project.

I have made 2 projects. The first one I call it "2017  Tag Line". Its a collection of positive words, motivational words that we all should be adhering to in our life.

I have started with one and will come up with many in this collection.

I have used the Bold XL set along on a water color distress background. Its very easy to make and we all can have our positive tag line.

The second project is a home decor piece. Its a Key Holder basically which I absolutely loved creating.

I have use 6 die cuts of the alphabets of plain white card stock to enable the 3D look. Later I used Gold card stock for the final one. This way it will make it sturdy as well as look elevated.

I will frame this and share it with all. Now I have also used another Die which is yet to release however I will not say which one. You can keep guessing from this project of mine till we share it with you all.

Cards and tags with Alphabet dies

Hello friends,
  today i have few projects to share using the new "Bold XL Alphabet dies".The size of the alphabets is 1 1/2 inches approx ,so it can be used widely on home decor and party theme projects.You can use it to create banners,wall art,cupcake toppers, stationery, invitations,the possibilities are endless with this one.

First one is shabby chic card.The size is quiet big for standard size cards,but you can use it if the sentiments is used as focal point .

Next one is alphabet tags.These are mini tags measuring 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches with alphabets on center.These can add a personal touch to any gifts.

Next up is a place card.Its a simple n quick one with a embossed panel,fancy border and few leaves and flowers. Doesn't the alphabet looks so bold and beautiful?i am just overflowed with ideas right now.So if you work more on party/home decor projects this die is a must have in your collection.

Shaker Tag Elephant

Hello crafty friends, 

today I´m back to show you how to use the shaker tag dies. I love tags, but I don't use them enough. To get more out of them I love using tags on my cards. So you can combine them. I find them so pretty but I always prefer making cards. There are probably more than two ways to use tags on cards, but I like separating them in two categories: 1. Tag is the main focus of the card and 2. Tag is just to create some interest. And this is how I used my shaker tag today. 

First I created my scene and colored the scene with my distress inks Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron. After creating my scene I die cut the shaker tag. I created the shaker window with some foamtape and a piece of acetate. I filled my shaker window with clear sequins and beads. 

I stamped my images on watercolor paper and colored them with my Zig Real Color Brush pens. Then I fuzzy cut everything and glued it on my shaker tag on top of the card. To finish my card I just used some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen and Glossy Accents.

For my first projects of the year,I made two cards in differents styles using so useful dies:

BOLD XL ALPHABETS

The firts one is a feminine one,I used the dies to create the sentiment of the card:

made my word "love" more attractive using 3D foams

And the word "You" is made from the die "Bless-ings"

For the second card,I made a different style more masculine:

For this one Bold XL Alphabet die is used to create the backgroung,used again 3D foams to add texture:

Added the "Celebrate die" cuted in a contrasted color:

And just add some drops of gesso added to water and half pearls:
