DCAM Jumbo How to with 3 layer stamps by LeeAnn

Greetings fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with my final post as DCAM DT Manager. Time sure has flown since the team was chosen, and we all started posting.

So for today's project, I used an Altenew stamp/die set that came in a magazine last year. Currently, this is the only multi-layer set I own, so it was the best to use for this. If you watch the video in full-screen mode it has subtitles for how or why I did each step.
I used Powderpuff Chalking Inks to stamp the flowers with, the lightest being Cherry Blossom, then Rose Petal and final Fuchsia.
Once I had my stamped flowers complete and let them dry, I used the WineTag die to cut a sheet of cardstock. I then mixed some Ranger Texture Paste and Barn Door Distress Ink to a smooth consistency and swiped it over the Bricked stencil.
Once the texture paste was dry, I used clear tape to adhere the silver pearl spray, and then double sided power tape to adhere the flowers. The top flower is adhered with foam tape to give it added dimension.
Using silver mirror paper I adhered a section adhesive sheet to the back and then cut out the word Sparkle. Using the adhesive sheet made it sticky once the backing was removed so that it would be easy to adhere without glue sticking out all over.
I then used Silver Glitter Wink of Stella on the flowers in various spots to add a little shine.
For a finishing touch, I added a black panel under the cut tag.

I hope you have enjoyed this project as much as I enjoyed making it. Please have a wonderful day. Follow my blog here to see more projects.

DCAM Spring Holidays with LeeAnn

Greetings crafty friends. LeeAnn with a couple of fun projects I made highlighting projects from DCAM.
First I used stencils and various Shimmer Sprays to complete the full 12x12 background.

I then stamped and colored my images with Spectrum Noir Markers, used the border die to cut out this 12x12 pattern paper to be a dance floor, I cut half, then turned the die around, lined it up and cut the other side. I cut a couple of circles with the inverted circles, one out of pattern paper and one from white. Stamped the sentiment on the white using the Stampoholic and then using the yellow ink pad I swiped it to be like the sun.

Project 2
This next project I used the envelope die cut

I first spritzed the paper with water, then sprinkled on the Color Burst Powders, as soon as it hit the water the colors went crazy. I added a few more spritz's of water and really loved the results.
I used the Celebrate die to cut from the extra front panel, I then did the same spritzing with the color bursts. Once it was dry I affixed the Celebrate die back in and adhered it to the front of the envelope.

Using the stamped images I colored with my markers then affixed them to the back of the envelope. My grandson will find this in his Easter Basket next month.

Stampoholic by DCAM

Hello Dear Friends,
Shalini Pahwa here, today i'll share my work using Stampoholic, which i have tried for the very first time, here's the pix and will be sharing the tutorial also...

When i started i was very scared whether i would be able to get the results or not,
but when started i was enjoying seeing the results..

I  started it by taking a stamp( taken penny black stamp) and distress marker,
once you had taken the color spray some water with mini mister
and stamp it on the water color paper.

then again apply the color and stamp it. (no water this time)

and keep on trying until you get the desired results you want.

Once you are satisfied, create the background and
embellish it the way you want.

I hope you all must have enjoyed the tutorial.
would love to hear your words.

All with scraps!!!

Hello friends,

I have lots of scrap papers collected left from making albums. So today I have few projects made with scrap papers.

For the first card I used the Stripes Basket Weave Background die for the frame. I took strips of different scraps and adhered on the back side. I adhered the panel to a black card base.

For the sentiment, I took a scrap piece of black CS and added Art Alchemy opal magic, to get the purple and blue metallic color. I then die cut the paper with the Stay Blessed die. I added this to the front panel. To finish the card I added few handmade flowers and sequins.

I took this picture to show the beautiful metallic sheen on the sentiment die cut.

  • The next project, I made a money envelope. I cut a card stock to make an envelope. I die cut the flap with the cloud die in the Double stitched Border/ card creator die set. I layered it with a scrap pattern paper and adhered a velcro sticker for closure.

On the front side I added the scrap pattern paper and inked through Bricked stencil.  I added a fussy cut image of flowers I had in my stash. I added a Inverted scallop Rectangle frame die cut and a Flourish die cut. For the sentiment I inked a scrap white CS with Abandoned Coral DI to get an ombre effect and die cut Blessings from the Stay Blessed die set. Added a few sequins to finish the cover.
Hope you liked my projects. Till next time
Happy Crafting!!!
